Warren and I had a great 1st July 4th. Sam got up early and ran the Peachtree Road Race with Pop. After the race he had to go to work. Warren and I went down to Auntie Vicki's and floated around in her neighbors pool. Warren is a water baby!! Not much of a surprise considering I was too. He did very well in the pool. He laughed and splashed around as long as he could. Maw was very worried about him getting too hot so after and hour he went back to the house for a nap. After nap time we cooked out with a couple new friends. It was a very fun day.

Me and my baby

Last week I started back to work after 7 wonderful months at home with Warren. It was a day I prayed would never come. I wish I could stay with him forever. Alas, I had to join the "real world" once again. It was a hard week for the both of us. We cried a lot. I'm very sad about the little things I'm missing while I'm at work. Spending every waking breath with my child was very gratifying. The good news is, my job is 6 miles from home. I'm never more than 10 minutes away from my angel, which makes me feel much better. He's doing well in daycare. He cries when I leave in the mornings but plays hard the rest of the day. He's in a great mood in the afternoons. We are both adjusting.

8 months old now!

Warren really enjoyed crawling through Henry's tunnel on Father's Day weekend. He crawled right through all by himself and was quite proud, as you can see.

Warren and I have been taking baths in my big tub lately. He really likes it. It's like a swimming pool to him!

Warren's Teeth

Can you see Warren's teeth? He has two bottom teeth and one top tooth. He's cutting another as well. That would be the reason for the runny nose and drool!

No more pictures!

We had a nice time at Aunt Joan's last weekend. Her roses were so beautiful. I wanted to get some really good pictures but Warren was not happy about that. We first put him in the grass and he cried. He didn't like grass! So, we put him on a pillow. He still was not completely thrilled with picture time. We will have to go back soon.

Warren pulls up

Warren is pulling up! I peeked in on him at nap time yesterday and much to my surprise he was standing up! Sam and I put him back in his crib to see if he could do it again. He didn't disappoint. He's remarkable!
