Warren had his 2 month check-up Dec. 21st. I took his Nana because I knew he was getting shots. Sam had to work and I was NOT doing it alone. He got three shots, one in his right leg and two in his left. He and I both cried. It was awful. I don't like seeing my baby cry. On the plus side, he weighed 12lbs. 12oz. and was 23 inches long. He's getting so big.
On our 1st month check up Warren weighted 11lbs. 2oz. and 21 inches long.
He's getting to be a big boy!
On the morning of October 21st I woke up at 9:30am to a phone call from my friend Tiffany Pilgrim. She had a dream the night before that I had called her and told her I was in labor and on the way to the hospital. I laughed it off and told her that it was just a dream. Even though I was only a day away from my due date, I was sure our little boy would be late. I thought I had another week to go. Thirty minutes later I was carving my pumpkin for Halloween when I started feeling "funny". Pretty soon the "funny" feeling wasn't so funny anymore! I called my Mom and told her "I think I'm having Braxton Hicks contractions. I'm sure it's nothing though". I waited a couple hours as my contractions grew stronger I still wasn't convinced I was in labor. I called Connie and told her my contractions were about 3 minutes apart. She told me we needed to head for the hospital. I still wasn't convinced. I just didn't want to get to the hospital too early. Connie was certain it was time so, I told her I'd call Sam at work and tell him to come home. Sam, Connie and Mom all showed up at my house at the same time and we headed to the hospital. We were at the hospital by 1:00 and I was already dilated 6cm!! I was very surprised to hear that. Pretty soon I had my epidural and life was good. By 6:00p.m. I was pushing and at 6:57p.m. our little boy had arrived! He cried right away. He was perfect. That was the happiest day of my life.
